The Brief

Word Salon was approached by a newly trained make up artist who had retrained following a substantial career break to raise a family. Seeking advice about marketing and networking, Word Salon advised that Caroline needed to start from the beginning in order to understand her proposition, and then promote herself accordingly. Following an in depth brief, Word Salon established what attributes would set Caroline apart from the competition and produced a selection of company names and straplines that reflected her key selling points. We also wrote copy for a website homepage and leaflet. A marketing strategy was also produced, that provided a wide range of options and recommendations on how to market herself effectively through on and offline media, and through networking collaborations and partnerships.
