Ian Trayner, a photographer, approached Word Salon for advice on how to rebrand and market his growing photography business. Ian wanted to tie together two different aspects of his photography with an overarching brand, whilst having distinct copy written to reflect each different market. With one being the family market, and the other the fashion market, Word Salon needed to engage two very different audiences with copy for two websites, but tie it together with a concept that reflected the work and unique proposition of this photographer.
Following an in depth brief, Word Salon worked with Ian to extract his proposition which would help set him apart from the competition. This led us to produce a number of company names, straplines, generic website copy and specific copy for each ‘sub brand’.
Additionally, we produced for Ian a marketing plan that provided ideas and recommendations on how to effectively market the two distinct sides of his business.
“I was impressed. Word Salon met the brief and supplied a sufficient quantity of concepts. The work was delivered earlier that I could use it, and they demonstrated a good understanding of my business. I am pleased with the provision of proactive marketing ideas.
Having you on board is already improving my morale! I don’t feel so overwhelmed by the marketing. For the first time I am thinking positively about getting the word out!”
