Terms and conditions of Word Salon Nutshell
Thank you for taking the time to read the terms and conditions.
Your ‘Nutshell’ copy is a business profile of a minimum of 600 words and a headline, which you can use for the homepage of your website, or on social media, or industry directory
Terms & Conditions
- About these Terms and Conditions.
In these terms and conditions “we” and “us” mean Word Salon, and “you” means you the customer. These terms and conditions together with your Order Confirmation will constitute the Contract between us and you for the supply of our copywriting product – Nutshell. No other terms and conditions shall apply. The Contract cannot be varied unless we agree to vary it in writing or by email.
- Placing Your Order
2.1 To place an Order you must be 18 years of age or over.
2.2 You may place an Order by upfront payment at www.wordsalon.co.uk by credit card or bank card.
2.3 We will not guarantee that orders placed in any way other than that those listed above will be fulfilled.
2.5 By placing an Order, you make an offer to us to purchase the service you have selected on these terms and conditions. We may or may not accept your offer at our discretion.
2.6 If we accept your Order, we will notify you of our acceptance by issuing an Order Confirmation. We will send your Order Confirmation to you by e-mail provided you have indicated an e-mail address on your Order Form. The Order Confirmation will be effective on sending. If we cannot accept your Order we will attempt to contact you by email or telephone.
2.7 Repayment of such monies will be the extent of our liability to you if we are unable to deliver to you the service you have ordered at all.
2.8 Information contained in our advertising, brochures, other written materials, on our web sites or given to you by our agents or employees constitutes an invitation to treat. No such information constitutes an offer by us to supply any service.
- Supply of Your Service
3.1 Subject to these terms and conditions, we will supply to you the Service indicated on your Order Confirmation.
3.2 Once we have received payment you will receive confirmation and a simple briefing form to fill out with information about your business. Should we not receive sufficient information, we will not be able to complete your Nutshell. Should further interaction be needed to ascertain the information we need, there may be a further charge which you will be advised of in advance of any invoice.
- Prices
4.1 The price for the service will be the price indicated on our website.
4.2 Pricing may be subject to change at any time.
4.3 Substantial rewriting or additional content or services will be charged at £60 per hour or according to a different and agreed pre-quoted service cost. This will be advised at the time of request, you will never be invoiced without prior warning.
- Paying for Your Products
5.1 Payment for our Service is by upfront payment at www.wordsalon.co.uk by credit card or bank card. Further charges or alternative services will be sent by Invoice to the email address you provide.
5.2 You must pay in the currency as indicated on our website or on your Invoice unless otherwise agreed.
5.3. We will not supply the Service to you nor perform the Services until your credit card issuer has authorised the use of your card for payment of the Services ordered. If we do not receive such authorisation we shall let you know.
- Delivery of Your Service
6.1 Upon receipt of your completed briefing form, we will endeavour to return your copy within seven to ten working days by email as a Word Document.
6.2 You will be allowed one set of amendments which can be supplied by email, by marked changes on the Word document or by telephone.
6.3 For the blog launcher and LinkedIn profile products we will call you to take a brief and discuss timescales.
- Your Right to Cancel a Contract for Services and to Receive a Refund
7.1 Should you change your mind after paying for your product, please contact us as soon as possible at elizabethhibbert@wordsalon.co.uk or on 07809 632653. As it is likely we will start work as soon as we receive your form, we cannot guarantee a refund will be possible.

- Our Liability
8.1 These terms and conditions set out the full extent of our obligations and liabilities in respect of the supply of the Service.
8.2 Save as set out at below, there are no warranties, conditions or other terms that are binding on us regarding the supply of the Service except as expressly stated in the Contract.
8.3 Any warranty, condition or other term arising out of or in connection with the supply of our Service which might otherwise be implied into or incorporated in the Contract by statute, common law, laws applicable in the country where you purchased the Service or otherwise (including without limitation any implied term as to quality, fitness for purpose, reasonable care and skill) is hereby expressly excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law.
8.4 Nothing in the Contract shall limit or exclude our liability (i) for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or (ii) for fraud or (iii) any breach of the obligations implied by applicable compulsory national laws as to title or (iv) any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
8.5 This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

- Data Protection
10.1 By placing your Order, you agree and understand that we may store, process and use data collected from your Order Form for the purposes of processing your Order.
10.2 No financial information will be stored or kept.
10.3 Your personal or company details will never be shared with a third party.
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control
We will make every effort to perform our obligations under the Contract. However, we cannot be held responsible for delays or failure to perform if such delay or failure is caused by any circumstances beyond our reasonable control. In the event of a delay, we will perform our obligations as soon as reasonably possible.
- Disagreements Governing Law and Jurisdiction
We will try to solve any disagreements quickly and efficiently. If you are not happy with the way we deal with any disagreement and you want to take court proceedings, you must do so within England or Wales and the laws of England and Wales will apply.
- General
13.1 Our failure to enforce any term of the Contract does not constitute a waiver of such term. Such failure shall in no way will affect our right later to enforce the strict terms of the contract.
13.2 The invalidity or enforceability of any provision of the Contract shall not adversely affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.
